I have now been dancing for over 25 years and enjoy many different styles of dance and realise that it’s all about Enjoying the Moment rather than feeling you don’t have a particular skill when dancing. 

Currently teaching Cuban style of dancing with a particular emphasis on Rueda de Casino.  I am extremely Passionate about Rueda de Casino, in particular it's inclusivity.   Rueda has a great way of encouraging group participation, develops timing and memory (each move has a name) and is a great deal of fun. 

Working with my husband (Charles), I work as part of the Cuban Vibes teaching team that provides students with a friendly welcoming atmosphere and a foundation in a variety Cuban dance styles. 

I was introduced to Salsa, over 25 years ago by my wife (Monica).  I quickly realised that I was expected to lead this new dance and so agreed to attend a 10-week salsa course, which led to a series of courses. This was to be the "Beginning of my Salsa Journey".

I Initially focused on Cuban style dancing before switching to cross body and then returning to Cuban style Rueda de Casino. I have been teaching for over 10 years and am part of the Cuban Vibes teaching team, this requires planning and teaching various levels of students of Cuban style of dancing.

Working in a profession that requires good communication skills, professionalism and a friendly approach, all of which I bring to my teaching style. The aim as I see it, is to ensure each student feels they belong to a large friendly dance family and have fun while learning a new skill.

We generally teach together when possible, as our teaching styles are complementary to each other. and we find our shared passion keeps us bound together in a fun way.
