Dear Cuba ’25 Travellers,

As you are aware, we planned to confirm Cuba ’25 details and finalise bookings around November/December 2024. Due to ongoing concerns in Cuba, we decided to delay this action and conduct further research on the status quo regarding Cuba.

Due to a number of factors that are out of our control, ‘A Taste of Salsa‘ team has made the unfortunate decision to cancel our planned Cuba ’25 trip.

Following conversations with booked & potential ‘Travellers‘, discussions with our Senior Travel Consultant at Love Cuba, and current news about the situation in Cuba, we have observed the increase pertaining to:

1. Increase in Civil unrest: Civilian protests and increase in crime
2. Infrastructure problems: Lack of power, fuel and other resources
3. International factors: Re-election of Trump, this potentially leads to greater negative impacts on travellers to Cuba (especially those needing to travel to the USA or other USA-governed regions.)

The ‘A Taste o Salsa’ team had to make a ‘Go‘ or ‘No-Go‘ decision on Cuba ’25 trip. When taking into  consideration the circumstances mentioned above, we felt it would be the right thing to cancel / postpone our Cuba ’25 experience, as we are unable to guarantee the immersive and positive Cuban experience that we planned and expect for our Travellers.

All AToS Cuba '25 Travellers will be refunded their fully refundable deposit payment

Please accept our apologies for the time taken to provide you with an update on Cuba ’25 status. We have taken this extra time to reassess the situation and to identify & evaluate other Cuban focused options, that would provide us with a suitable level of confidence and assurance, allowing us to proceed with our Cuba ’25 experience. Unfortunately we could not find a suitable way to go forward, and ensure that our Travellers enjoy an incredible, and memorable Cuban experience in November 2025.
